Brussels Sprouts

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice optional, for added freshness

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  • Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Roast for 20-25 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until sprouts are golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and drizzle with lemon juice if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding balsamic vinegar, Parmesan, garlic, or even bacon.
