Ingredients
  

Basic Roasted Brussels Sprouts

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Garlic & Parmesan Variation

  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Honey Balsamic Glaze Variation

  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Bacon & Maple Syrup Variation

  • 4 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  • Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Roast for 20-25 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until sprouts are golden brown and crispy.
  • In the last 5 minutes of roasting, add minced garlic. Remove from oven and sprinkle with Parmesan before serving.
  • Mix honey and balsamic vinegar. Brush over Brussels sprouts after 15 minutes of roasting and continue cooking for another 8-10 minutes.
  • After roasting, mix in crumbled bacon and drizzle with maple syrup. Toss to coat before serving.

Notes

For more variations, try adding harissa, soy-ginger glaze, or Mediterranean flavors like lemon zest and oregano.
